I just love this movie, it had so much meaning to it and its based on a true story. What happened in the movie still happens nowadays.I learned that people shouldn't judge others by their color, by the way they look, or the way they came from. These people are just like us.We are all humans, we are all unique, which makes us a different. I can relate to this because of my experience people think I am a Muslim, and I put dot on top of my head,or terrorists. Which is not true because I am a christian.They shouldn't be assuming things, without getting to know someone. One person can truly make a difference. Its who will take charge and make it happen. #benefiical#loveit#inspirational :) :)
This is now one of my favorite movies of all time. I think Erin Gruwell should be evryones hero. She changed those kids to have a beter life. I learnd that we are all the same even thogh we come from differnt places. My favoet part was when the kid read from his Jurnal to the class. It was so cool that she changed all those kids from hating eachother to being a family. That is what I liked moste about the movie.

I like that this movie was based on a true story and it changed a bunch of kids that were in gangs and drugs.I like that the teacher inspire the teens to study more and get an education.This movie probably also inspired other kids that haves a similar life to the teens in the movie.
I really like this movie. It shows how some people actual have been in a gang life and have a lot of friends die. Most of us grow up thinking like were safe and that nothing like that could ever happen to any of us. But this kids prove to these children that yes things like that actual do happen and young kids/ teenagers do die out their without us knowing.
I've watched this movie many times and I never get tired of watching it. The things these kids go through are horrible but I can definitely relate. I've had family members taken to jail and even killed due to gang violence. This is why I always get emotional when I watch this movie. I think a lot of people can relate to this movie in one way or another. The way Mrs. Gruwell changes these kids' lives is so admirable. It makes me believe that anyone can make a difference even if changes the life of only one person.
I really liked this movie.I liked how the teacher helped all of the class to become a person in life.My favorite part of the movie was when the old women came in to talk to the class about her life and Anne's Frank's life.
The movie has so much inspiration that one can do anything they set their minds to. There will always be doubters, but you've got to keep pushing. You'll lose some, and then you'll win some. Don't be discouraged by people leaving your side, that doesn't mean that you are doing wrong. It means you are doing something hard that no one else could bear.

i found it interesting that they're problems weren't normal kid problems they were facing death,poverty, and gangs. and then this one teacher comes and tries to change the way they think try to make them into better people but still accepting them for who they are.
The movie #freedomwriter rlly got to me bcuz i realised how bad people have it. The scene with the boy reading from his diary really got to me bcuz i could only imagine how hes feeling and i could just imagine being in that situation. .-.

This has always been one of my favorite movies. its sad, happy and inspirational. It teaches you that even when you re going through a tough time you can still follow your dreams and life goes on.
I really relate to this movie. I love love when she read the dairy and it show little clips of what happen to them. I fill sorry for them,but that teacher really help them and change there life. I think if these kids can get threw high school, i can get threw high school no problem. I just wish i can take there pain away and trow in in a hole
I liked the movie, and I really would like to know what happened to Eva and her dad. I think this movie was trying to tell us that to get an education it doesn't matter where you come from or whether you're poor or rich, but that you give it all your best. The part i did not like is when the husband leaves her when she is in a complicated situation.
The thing i liked about the teacher is that she got a divorce just to help the kids that had the "thug life".The thing i liked about the kids is that they made the effort also to change their lives and forget the past.
really enjoyed this movie tbh. It was based on real life experiences and it's touching. It proved to me that whatever is going on the outside world doesn't have to affect you. Still go on strong . It was a lesson taught learned .
This away been my favorite movies. I was surprise when i learn that this was a true story because is usually hard for teacher to make family in the classroom. But this movie showed that everyone has a chance in life, some just need a push to get started. (Rosa Osuna)

I didn't see most of the movie, but to me, it was about expanding your mind, no matter your race or where you come from. And anyone can be family.

Since I've used cursive before, this isn't new to me.I have been writing cursive for my signature for a long time.
