Do we remember... That poem has a meaning that everything that has happen was only with our minds. From the shooting in the wars to the playing ninja as a kid with your friends. This meaning is big because the only thing that is a meaning is how our mind is ,but some people does not want to use their imagination and those are the people who are just a grain of sand, a drop of water in a pond, and a single leaf on a plant. The people who do use their mind to the fullest they are the brightest light on the nun, greatest gust of wind and the whole flower.
Wow ! This poem is very interesting , the playing of the music actually helps you understand what he is really saying . Like he says do we remember doing this and that . All the things he says opens up your mind and help you imagine wow i did that and then you look at your past and then bring yourself to the present with the melody of the music !! ReplyDeleteRemember How We Forgot reminds of when we were kids and how we had a sense of wonder. how everything was so simple back then and how we evolved over the years. the music really helped with the mood of the poem and it was pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis poem is about the little things that made up our child hood. We never noticed the little things that actually made our childhood and what we grew up with. He compares how it is now to how it was then. I sort of agree with him because its different now.
ReplyDeleteIt's powerful, I think it's trying to say how if you remember when you were little and you thought life was perfect and rainbows. When you grow up you will be noticing how real life is like as you grow up, that it isn't always rainbows and same rights.
ReplyDeleteThe poem has a deep meaning which reflects many aspects of our lives. The poet recites this with lots of emotion , making for gasps of air to be taken as he says words of inspiration . The dictions , tone , & syntax we can see all the heart put into the poem.
ReplyDeletethe poem has a very deep meaning about the things we have done in our passed. the poets show his emotion as he says out the words and he moves his arm and hands to show how he really feels about it. showing us how the passed seemed bad but its all good memories and to reflect back on what we have done in our lives.
ReplyDeleteI think the poem is describing how our eyes used to see life when we were kids. On how everything used to be so simple. We sometimes forget how the smallest thing could make us smile. Remember those simple things instead the bad one. - Rosa Osuna
